LIRA forum question

just out of curiosity, how come we have to be a paying member to browse the other LIRA forum? i'm not actually from around the area (from boston) but just wanted to browse the site. is there a particular reason? thanks.

the "other" LIRA forum is a private forum for LIRA club members. (it's the club forum). this space RC has given us allows anyone to post and keeps other long island reefers in contact with each other reguardless of any Club affiliation.

What he is saying is that their personal website is free to peruse but not post while ours lets in no one.

it gives us the club memebers an area to discuss sensitive matters that do not need to be aired in a public forum. we like that little bit of privacy here in NY. lol
