liter meter

It's a peristaltic pump. You can dial in the liter per day to pump. Being a peristaltic pump vs. a standard pump where the fluid contacts the solution that you are pumping, it only contacts the hose and it works similar to squeezing a tube of toothpaste. They are kind of a must if pumping somthing like kalkwasser. On the new ones you can run 3 individual pumps at different dosing amounts and also use it for your 2 part etc. I have the older one that only runs the one pump and just use it for kalkwasser.

I had one on my previous system and it worked very well. I used it to pump top-off water from my reservoir to my sump, a distance of about 20'.

I'll probably get another for my new system. . .

:D

I have one for my set up. I've had it for about two years now. Its biggest strength is that it wont add more than you program it add.

The biggest drawback is that it wont adapt to different evaporation rates. In winter, my tank evaporates more water than in summer...need to remember to change the settings winter/summer....

But because of that, I did not have a major meltdown when my skimmer went nuts and blew water all over the inside of my stand....

People who have had AT units plumbed directly to their sump have had wipeouts due to that exact thing. Skimmer goes nuts or a small leak develops somewhere and the AT unit keeps adding RO water, lowering salinity.

As it was I just had a messy stand to deal with.
