little bit of foggy water

Is my foggy water do to my phosphate issue. i have read that this might be the cause im not sure. and on top of that my goby is back at the diging game so that doesnt help.

any one have any ideas.

Not sure, but I would bet it is the goby. I think phosphates will cause algae issues, but I haven't heard of cloudy water.

I came home last night to a very cloudy tank. My pistol shimp and goby decided to move and clouded up the whole tank.

yea i would bet the goby is causing dust to fill up in the water column from sifting sand all over

well i forget the site but they sad phospates. so i dont know. im confused on the issue

No. Phosphates will stress coral a bit, and cause them to lose color, but I've never seen anything about it causing cloudy water. My water perpetually looks a bit cloudy thanks to my goby.

that might be it then. ill blame the goby agin for this one till i can find any other posiblity.

are you dosing calcium or anything like that? it could be calcium precipitate

havent doesd calcium in a week leting my levels drop then im going to find the right dosege to use daily for 2 part
