Little Help With My Water

Okay of the past few weeks my Zoas have started closing, shrinking and just generally not looking good.

28g Nano
18 months running
Stocked with primarly Zoas & pallys couple small fish

I have now taken a couple water parameter readings after the help I recieved in this form to figure out what to look at. For now I have the following:

Temp = 78
Sg = 1.023
PH = 7.75
Calc = >500 ppm (is off the chart)

I am looking for suggestions as how to move forward. It looks like we need to raise the PH and lower the Calc. Sorry no Alk test yet, will try to score a kit tonight.

thanks

Try going to 1.025 with SG.
pH kinda low.. try hitting 8.0-8.2
Cal should be 450. what salt are you using and are you using tap or RODI?

When raising your salinity though, do it SLOWLY, especially with that small of a tank. Zoas are known to be easily acclimated into new tanks, so I would imagine they wouldnt be so effected by a quick salinity change, but the fish will most likely have a problem.
