I have these little bugs on my sps (Tegastes acroporanus)

The corals look fine. I tried calling all the vets around and I cannot get the interceptor stuff. Plus it is discontinued to.
I am in the proscess of putting all the corals into my 190. Right now they are in my 40 g... I have not transferred any corals yet.. I'm stuck on what I should do so I need your help guys. Thanks

Since you're moving the corals, do a Bayer dip before you put them into the new system. That should take care of all the red bugs. However, if you're going the interceptor way, the product that replaced it is Sentinel

Should I try a 10 ml per cup dose

I tried the Bayer thing, and while effective, I felt like it was too harsh on my corals.

I had great success with Revive at a longer dip time.

I did multiple dips over 4 weeks and added a sixline wrasse.

This is just my method. Not saying it's best, just giving you options.

Thanks anyone else please chime in

+ 1 Bayer I had opposite results with revive stronger and longer soak stressed my corals and still red bugs. Bayer smoked the redbugs I didn't see any after 1st dip but went 2 more 1 per week just to be sure.

Bayer doesn't seem to harsh for me. I have dipped "red dragon" and other deep water species, although I do a mild dip solution it does kill the red bugs or at least knock them off the coral. I haven't completely eliminated them yet as I work out of town and can't dip on a weekly basis and the corals keep getting reinfected. I dip 2TBSP per gallon of tank water for five minutes. Corals don't even slime up and I can't see a single red bug after the dip although a couple of weeks later they are back so weekly dips will be necessary to completely eliminate them.

I never had an issue with Bayer being too harsh, however, make sure that after you dip you do a very thorough rinse of the coral in clean saltwater before you put it into the new system. Make sure everything thats dead comes off. I learned the hard way when my cleaner shrimp ate a poisoned copepod that came off a coral. He died within 2 hours :(

So I did a 10 ml of bayer per cup mixture. Left the corals in the dip 10 min.Corals are fine, polyp extension is back . It's been 6 hours and so far no red bugs. I did put the corals back in the 40 gal tank

I would continue to dip weekly for at least 4 weeks to be sure nothing makes it to your new tank. It's nice to know you are starting out pest free.

Thanks. I don't know if my 190 will be pest free i used 2 pieces of live rock from my 40 g but nothing unusual in my 40 except for these red bugs and vermitted snails...
