If so, it's a Scyon.

no definately not, hard to describe, just tiny ( maybe not even a quarter of an inch ) white, look almost like tiny tubes attached to walls and return pump in refugium only. there are tons of them, a few look like they have little legs, but they do not appear to be moving at all. cant seems to figure out how to get a pic to show up here, i added 1 but doesnt show up

Well apparently a pic isnt going to happen, evertime i uoad it fails. The only other thing i can say is that they look like tiny pieces of rice sticking off the walls of the sump. I have a three stage sump. And they are in all three.

Are they round? Are the a line? Anything coming from one end or the other? Any color at one end or the other? Is it hard? :)

ok i think this time the pics may have worked, these little things are everywher in refugium maybe 30 or so

That many sponges developing might point out high silicates in your water. Are you using RO/DI water? Regardless, sponges are nothing to worry about at all, let them be.

every tuesday i do a 10-15% change with ro water. however i did just put a new peice of rock in the refugium a week ago, i am assuming they came from that.
