littleneck clams from florida

as my info says i'm a assistant seafood manager up in NH. our last couple of orders of Littlenecks have come out of florida. would I be able to place one of these in my tank? i'm not looking for anything fancy but more for a variety of life and nutrient use.

What do you think?

I took some that were on ice at the seafood section in my grocery store and placed them in my tank and they did well.

Just make sure that you do not put too many in the tank so that if they die you will not crash the tank.
