DD is a separate facility and they only sell WYSIWYG, what you see is what you get. Each day they post fish/coral/inverts that are for sale, and the first person to buy gets the animal. If you're too slow, you miss out.
You can sign up for their 2 emails. One you get about 1pm telling you what animals will be for sale that day. And then at 6pm you get another email with all the links to the animals which are now for sale.
Animals that don't sell immediately remain for sale for a little while.
The big aspect that makes me use them is that they only sell fish that are eating and appear healthy. They have a very good quarantine system, but it is only 2 weeks long, so you should still quarantine their fish. Basically they offer the best condition fish on the market, but it can be a bit of a challenge waiting for and then purchasing something you're looking for.

I've had nothing but good experiences with them. I purchased a firefish, royal gramma, neon goby pair, pygmy filefish pair, and a yellow banded possum wrasse. All healthy and thriving.
Before the pair, I had ordered a single filefish which died during the first two weeks in quarantine and they refunded my money.
I try to get all my fish from them, but when you want something specific, it can be tough if it's not something they usually get.

It depends. Some stuff gets snagged quickly. Other stuff sits for a while, though I think that is mostly niche specimens that don't have a large market, and other stuff has a steady stream coming through.

I recently purchased my Orange Spotted Filefish from DD. Fish was very vibrant and appears to be very healthy. I just finished put her through the Tank Transfer Method, and is now in quarantine.
I have ordered many items from the DD section in the past, and have had very good luck with them. Highly recommended.

This may seem like a question for a different forum but I do not have a QT tank. I usually put the fish I get from the store in a bowl. Then I add water from my tank over the course of about 45 min. Then I net the fish and put it in the tank. That is what a few folks have told me?

If I don't use a QT tank for the first 2 fish (pair of clowns) I get what I am risking if I bring in a disease?
Will all my live rock be tainted forever? or will I just need to go fishless for 12 weeks and the parasites will die?

It really depends on the parasite. Some need a fish to complete the life cycle others do not and will wait for one to come along. That being said the majority of things we see would be removed after 12 weeks of being fishless.
A lot of newer folks are concerned over ich, in the grand scheme of common illnesses ich is probably of least concern. Things such as velvet, brook uronema will devastate a tank in short order.
The proper use of a QT will catch these things as well as giving a fish time to relax and get used to the food your feeding. good luck just my two cents.

Having been to a few DD open houses, I was and am pretty impressed with their set up and operation.

my lFS has some juvenile clowns in a tank with corals. I think that would be a pretty safe start for me if I don't QT. Thought process being they probably aren't loaded with medicine in that tank.
Maybe I should consider DD for my first fish though?

I'm going to give them a try! The lfs around me are not that great and fish usually end up dying in qt within a week or 2
