Live rock crab needs ID please

I found this type of crab in the live rock I need help if this Crab it is keep reef Safe or good for reef tank or not good for the reef Please help me I need your help
I saw he is eating the alga in the tank.

What about the hair on the legs it is normal or he is sick

These appear to be emerald mithrax crabs. Reef safe and good CUC. The hair on the legs is normal

These are not emerald mithrax. Emerald mithrax are green, and have smaller claws. These things look like fish killers, and I would get them out ASAP.

I would toss them in the sump or refugium. That or kill'em. Nearly all crabs are opportunistic feeders. So they'll eat whatever they can get their claws on including fish.

it' was log time in thank but I did'nt see him attack on the fish

Same time i saw him near from the coral eating the alga on the coral

but in the night I don't now

You can tell by its extended claw that it is a fish killer.

it looks like a xanthid crab i would definatley toss him out or put him in your sump.
