Live Rock, Dry Rock or CarbiSea Rock?

I know there are a lot of threads on this debate, but I was hoping for a local perspective...

Most say go with dry rock and a little bit of live rock to seed. Any thoughts?

Considering:

- Local Live Rock

- ReefCleaners Reef Rock

- Caribsea Life Rock (simulated live rock)

Thank you!

Most live rock is great and full of the good organisms needed to take care of nutrients. Just beware some could be loaded with pests you don't want. If you're a control freak like me, dry rock is a pest free alternative. It just takes longer to become "live". I just got some stax rock from marine depot. I just like the way it looks. I plan on soaking it in fresh saltwater with bacterial cultures and one of my live rocks to make it live. Might take a few weeks but well worth being free of pests. AEFW can be a major pain.
