live rock now dead rock ???

I have some rocks that was once live. When it was taken out of the tank it was stored in a tub dry. It has sat out in the sun. What do I need to do with it before using it in my sump.

you have to cure it again .... put it an tub with a power head and a protein skimmer ... in low light ... go for as much water movement as you can get ...water changes are a necessity .. more skim the skimmer pulls the faster it will cure .. can take anywhere from a week to a month just depends on how much stuff is going to die off .. use your test kits and check to see when everything goes to zero ....

malisia are you talking about what you got from me, tell jason it was the base rock we got fro the 210 , i dont think you got any LR dried, most of that is in my tub of water, but look to be sure, also i have that big rock you wanted set out for you you can come by and get it when you want to, dragons need rock to,

You know it is done curing when the smell is gone...or you test the water parameters of the live rock curing vat and make sure ammonia and nitrites are at zero.
