bacnberger told me last night he brought rock off ebay and was happy with it.. I don't know who from though...
I brought mine from Reefermadness (walt smith tonga Kaelini ) i was extremely happy with it. it's been a yr now in my tank and i still have things growing from it ( yellow sponges and actual small mussel type clams ) of course it was much more then $2 lb.
