Live rock quality

I'm thinking about getting the 44lb cured fiji rock from MarineDepotLive. The price is very reasonable and I was wondering if it's on sale now/recently because the live rock isn't as attractive (encrusted with life) as usual? I'd like to hear some comments about how recent live rock shipments from MDL have been.
