Live Rock

After taking about 4 years off from reefing for college I have started a 40 breeder sps tank. I live in Morgantown WV and the LFS situation here is just sad!:mad2: I'm going to be getting all my coral from people selling in Pittsburgh and LFS in Pittsburgh.

At the moment though I'm looking for some live rock or good base rock. If anyone has any I could take a trip up to get it I'm normally up atleast one weekend a month. $$$

I'm looking forward to sharing the build here as it develops more! :wave:

The only halfway decent place in Morgantown is the one in Westover, Streetside Pets I think?? Unfortunately the owner knows much less about reefing than he tries to convey. I haven't been there in years.

Yea I went in there the other day to get a little bit of rock to help start cycling. Its "live rock" but has not much in the way of life to it. His one coral tank is covered in green bubble algae. I got some of it in my last tank and had to break the tank down and let the rock sit out for a couple days to kill it. He gets in some nice coral from time to time but it dies in under a week. It's kind of a shame. He does have really nice selection of fish that all look really healthy.
