Live Rock

I'm redoing a 125 reef and have some live rock with palys and various unwanted growth, ie. majanos and brown polyps. What do I do to save the rock for future use?

Eradicate the pests. Gouge them out, cover them with kalk paste, inject them with lemon juice or vinegar....

Should I just soak the pieces in a 50/50 vinegar solution and air dry? There's a lot and the rock is large.

Yes, I'm probably going to trash the rocks with the most palys.
