Can you have live rock and live sand in a 3g pico/seahorse tank...somebody said like u need to add somthing to kill somthig thats bad for dwarf sea horses. And could give me a link as to were to buy it at...
most people get worried about hitchikers when it comes to dwarfs. So i would say do a dip in high salt concentrated water to get rid of any hitchikers on the live rock
A salinity dip won't do all you need IMO. For a dwarf tank I would use panacur on the system. This will make the LR store panacur in it for years to come so you will never be able to keep inverts with it, just so ya know. JMO
Specifically, its hydroids you need to worry about. I hate the idea of killing all inverts, but from what I have read, short of what pledosophy suggests, it is very hard to avoid hydroids in a dwarf tank.
What if, i bought some rock that was live rock buts dead now..would that work..im just asking cus i wont my moms tank to look good and she wonted some rock in there
2nd question....would i be able to add certen corls in there...like zoos and some mushrooms...or xeania..or..frogspan just to name a few..all i wont is the tank to look the best it can.
