live rock

hey i came across this in my locals site.

does this look like live rock? it has a diffrent look to it but its got coraline on it. its all that for 100$ pretty good deal in my opinon
any ideas would be appreciated

It doesn't seem very pourus at all, but if that's the look you want, I won't tell you no. You are just not going to have a lot of caves and things for critters to grow in that type of rock.

could i drill some holes through it?

I would just get some marco rock and cure it yourself, you will be a much happier camper.

I wouldn't put that rock in my tank if they were giving it away! Thats some ugly looking boulders imo!
