Live sand

I need some live sand. Not the kind with bacteria, but critters. It is for 2-5gal tanks, so I don't need one for $70 that will start a 55gal. Where do I find it online?

Try to find a local reef club and get a cup from one or two (more diversity) people and mix into dead sand. It will all become LS.

it's not worth buying online for that small of a tank, the shipping price isn't worth it. try to do what carmiejo says, or just buy lr to add to arag. sand. if you do want to still buy real ls online, then check out saltwaterfish.com and get their 20lbs. ls, it's like around $50-$80 with shipping for real ls.

I would just ask your LFS, it isnt worth buying the supposed Livesand that they say is live. It is kept in a bag, te only thing you get is saltwater, sand, and bacteria. You dont get pods, worms etc.
Or just go and buy some base sand, and get a couples pieces of good cured rock to seed it.
