live shrimp from the bait store

Is it ok for me to feed shrimp from the bait store to my anenome?

They are cheap live + I have a friend that owns one. I was just thinking that there could be an issue with built up toxins or disease.

nahh, I used to throw in my left over bait. most of them hunker down in the sand. they are actually a very good clean up crew.

I would imagine that the bait store tank probably gets pretty nasty . . . I used to have a large oscar that ate lots of feeder goldfish, and the LFS's feeder goldfish tank was always funky w/ lots of dead fish. My oscar never had any problems from 'em, but you might want to keep the cleanliness of the shrimps in mind.
