Live stock for sale

Yes you are right, I talked to the moving comp. and they said it is costing $120 to move the tank and the stand, if I could sell it for something reasonable then it should be easy to buy a new one or a used one. I was planing to go bigger anyway. But the problem is if I could find anybody looking for a 75 Gal tank. May be I can give the rocks to who ever buys the tank :).

If you post in this forum (or even MTRC forum) saying that you are selling a 75g tank with free live rock...someone will snap it up.

Someone will buy it just for the rock, hah hah.

i sure could use a little rock... but i dont know for sure if my finances will be back in shape by then. this tank upgrade has come at a bad time for my pockets. if i can i would like to try to get some. i'll keep you posted if it doesnt sell with the tank

That is too bad it would be great save. How much you paid if you don't mind. I might have to buy one next month.

I gave $250... The tank was reef ready and came with all the plumbing and the stand... Also it was practically new, only used for a few months... But... I had to drive to Nashville... He had it for sale for 3 months before I finally bought it though...

I see that is a long drive. I think I would be ok with ~150 and may be some extra for the rocks but as always I am open to offers.

Is the tank RR? Not interested just a question that will be asked if you are selling it....;) All the nice big used tanks for sell on ebay and the selling forums are in california. I would unload it and save the shipping/packing of it. When we got moving estements we figured out it cost more per pound to move things than they were worth. Some stuff was better to just sell in a yard sell and buy new. Good luck with the move. Thats a long way!

I think the proper answer to the question is no. But I use an overflow box to circulate the water to the sump and a pump to return. But there are no holes or plumbing. Thanks for asking, I know the idea of selling the tank here sounds good but as Mel also pointed out it is hard to find some one looking for a tank in this short amount of time. I would have certainly be glad to find something like this when I started and paid over $350 for it.

I baught my tank in Michigan for $350 before moving down here.. new from a petstore. Just tossed it into the back of my van and took off. The reason I did that was simple, I had the money for it then and in all likely hood.. I wouldnt when I got here :o) turns out I was right. Have room in your backseat by chance? hehe

I actually will fly there it is 30hr driving and I don't what to do it alone. But I was tempted to do so because I had to sell everything and buy them again and start over. Well actually I missed doing that too but it cost a lot. This time I would definitely look for someone moving out :).

Yeah, just hit up the local forum when you get there... I can't believe I spent as much as I did on my 125... Oh well, learned alot since then...

That is if you drive with 70 mph can you imagine U-haul truck with the tank in it going 70 mph for 30 hr. Ok we had enough fun now who is going to help me :). ct_vol will come sunday to check things around anyone else want to come by is welcomed.

Ok ct_vol picked the brains (that sounds interesting) and a small frag of polyps today. He robbed :) me but oh well at least he helped me get some of the stuff out of my hands. So I think it is time to make some discounts. These might still sound high but I really donââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢t want to just give away them either (I need money to set up my new tank). The Aquarium made (sort of) an offer but they want me to took everything to the store and look at them then tell me what they are going to give me and I guess if I donââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢t like the offer I have to take all back. Too much work I need to go there and talk to them again. Any way hope some of you will like these new prices and make an offer we can still negotiate ct_vol can tell you how bad a negotiator I am. Here are the new prices

I would like to come by to shop please. Let me know when a good time would be for you. I would be interested in the zoas and maybe the LR. I could not do all of it but might be interested in a few pieces. Good luck with your move.
