Good Evening,

I have order from you many times in the last year...and have a question/recommendation concerning the way orders are handle in the Divers Den specfically. This may have been addressed before, but I have not seen it. My question/recommendation is while I'm trying to view all the new items on the den when they are posted if I place something in my cart and look at other items they are not held. Tonight I saw two pieces that I absolutely wanted...while I looked to see if there where other pieces that I wanted the two items I placed in my cart where gone. Because you cannot add to an order once it is placed it is almost impossible to look at all the new items before someone else picks up what you have identified as wanting. Is it possible for you to place some kind of active status to a person cart so that they can continue to shop. It only seems fair. I seen other sites where this is possible. It allows you to shop and not worry about somebody checking out before you. I look forward to hearing from you, and will continue to shop with you because of your great costumer service and items.

Thank you for your patience and for your compliments on our customer service. Although we do not have an immediate plan to change the online ordering system, we welcome suggestions such as this for future considerations.

The purchase of the Divers Den specimens is dependent on which order is finalized first. To ensure you are able to purchase the items you would like, we suggest you finalize your Divers Den order quickly. If necessary, you can call us immediately after finalizing your order and we would be happy to add other non Divers Den items or similar adjustments to the order.

At this time, we feel our current shopping cart system for the Divers Den works well for the majority of our customers; however, we are always willing to take recommendations from customers that may improve their shopping experience. We will keep your suggestions in mind when considering future programming needs and thank you for expressing your ideas.

I thank you for the reply, quick as always. I still however believe that there needs to be a change...people who want to buy mutiple itemsand spend more on site may not do this because they need to check out quickly. For me I will have to check out once I place the item in the basket. I will not be able to spend additional time looking and therefor spend additional $. It is good that you can add additional items from outside of the divers den, but this also will add shipping costs to the order. Once again I'm happy with your service it just seems that something better can be put in place for your customers on this issue. Thank you for listening.

We might suggest checking out first with the Diver’s den item(s) you are most interested in. We would be happy to hold this order open for 24 hours so that you could add other Diver's Den specimens This would give you the chance to both ensure that you receive the coral, fish, etc., that you originally wanted, while also being able to add other Diver’s Den items that you may find later on. Since we don’t anticipate changing this process in the near future this may be the best option for you.
