Liverock safe?

I picked up this small piece of rock at a secluded beach (I live in the tropics) when I was scooping some water up for my tank in hopes of using it to seed my aquarium. I haven't added the rock to my tank yet because I'm worried it might have something that would be somewhat difficult to handle if spread (main reason why I've been holding off this build for months now). Any advice?

Thanks guys! There are a few green plants and I'm worried it may be Caulerpa algae. I'll post once I get a chance to take clearer and closer pictures, but it looks like a little flower-like thing.. Don't really know how to explain it

I'm just too nervous to add wild found / collected rock into my tanks.

Just never know what's on it.

If you want to run a tank with a more wild look, than go for it.

I started out with dry rock and QT everything wet, so different type of tank.

Don't get me wrong, I love the look of some of the crazy rock that comes out of the gulf and other areas. Just not in my tanks.
