I have decided against upgrading my tanks lighting system for now, I just cant afford the jump to better lights for the ability to grow nicer corals of any kind. I am running 4 65w PC's, and have several varieties of mushrooms in the tank, as well as a huge vermatid snail, that casts his net out to grab dinner. I am thinking that I will do a mushroom tank, I really like em, they are hardy, and the lighting I have now will do good for them.

The fish in the tank have all been in there for over a year now, all of them doing well. I have a mated pair of watchman gobies ( approx 5 inches long, quite large from what I've seen) that live with a pistol shrimp (about 3 inches long), he does an excellent job of turning over my crushed coral bed about once every week or so. I also have a gold stripped maroon clownfish ( about 3 inches long, good sized), that plays relatively well with the two gobies.

This is a 75 gallon tank, with a 20 gallon sump. Currently half the sump has bio-balls, I am in the process of converting it to a refugum with some macro algae. I have approx 80-90 lbs of live rock, most of which is covered in coraline algae. I've never had any problems with the tank as far as nitrates, amonia, etc.

I would like to hear some suggestions for fish. I am thinking one, possible two at the absolute most. I would like something colorfull, that is an algae grazer, that likes to swim around the tank a bit. Something to brighten up and make the tank seem a bit more active. I really dont want any more gobie-shaped fish( blennies, etc), or anyhting that might constantly freak out the gobies while they are on guard duty ;)

Thanks!

Why not get a tang, they will do fine with any of your fish they're algea eaters, and they are always out in the open.
