Livestock Online Purchasing "Expensive"

forgot to tell you even petsolution.com is running no freight charges on salt mix. I just ordered 200gal. bucket of oceanic for $37.00. It goes for $109.00 locally.

In my situation, buying online is always cheaper, for instance a emperor 400 is $40 on sale at dr. fosters or $100 at every fish store within three hours of me. A ten gallon tank here is $50.
I can order fish through my pet store but there is no guarentee and the distributor sometimes sends whatever he has instead of what I want, I risked this only for a royal gramma and a damsel. I can't buy literally anything for my tank or most of my assorted animals locally so once or twice a month I order online. My only beef so far is that Foster's doesn't carry my test kits or my cat and ferrets food. Then I could order everything from them with no weight fees. I do order from other places to get the things I need but find that their shipping is the most reasonable.
Yes I pay a fortune for my fish, I have two coming for a grand total of $66, the shipping was more than the fish but it's not like I can go out and catch them myself is it? It's pretty much pay it or find a cheaper hobby but I kinda like this one.

OK, location, availability and quality. I get it. Yes I live in FL, and yes i do have a very good LFS near by. I have found a couple more, but have not been to them yet.

I live right across the bridge in Tampa. The best LFS near us is Marine Aquarium Warehouse on Hillsborough. Other than that I only know of 2 that are quality places to shop.
