well ive knowticed one small hole above the right eye of my coral beauty. im thinking lateral line desease. is there anything that I can do. all perameters are looking normal. the only thing that is not is the nitrate level it is currently 20ppm and going down after a few weeks a 40ppm. any suggestions from anyone would be greatly appreciated.

Hi wesly,

You need to feed a good diet supplemented with vitamins. If the diet is good that is a good start to treating.

Check for any stray voltage if your tank is not grounded. Poor water quality (high nitrate) could aslo be a factor, so keep up with good quality.

Stress can also be a problem.

However, for HLLE or LLE quality food with vitamins is key to helping your fish.
