Can/do reef lobsters regenerate their claws if they are lost?

hey m000240, i c you picked up some mantis shrimps eh. did you pick up some live rock?

I picked up the live rock at the beach. On another trip while getting some hermits my wife found a mantis shrimp. Before anyone said they wanted it I took it back to the beach. A few people have said they wanted one, but I haven't had the chance to head back beach combing yet.
