i am looking for a few names of some good local fish stores in the philadelphia area. if you can help with any i would appreciate it. thank you

Nemo's aquarium store in E.Norriton,Pa. is my favorite. Sherman the manager is great to deal with and very knowledgeable and has a very good selection of livestock. The Aquarium Center in Blackwood,N.J. you are probably familiar with already. The Hidden Reef I believe is in Levittown,Pa., which I have heard is pretty good. Then there is "That Fish Place" which is out in Lancaster,Pa. I'm sure there are others that I may not be aware of.

thanks alot guys. yes i frequent the aquarium center and hidden reef(which is awesome). i remember someone talking about a store near the philadelphia airport and i cant remember the name of it but it was supose to be equal to that of the hidden reef.

Frazer Zoo is the one i frequent, in Frazer, Pa. The guy that manages the fish section is great. They usually don't have more than 15 or so sw fish in stock, but they have a nice variety of corals. That pet place is awesome, but it is a bit of a drive, it is worth it if you have a decent size list of stuff that you wish to purchase.

second that on that fish place lb013. Their SW livestock/corals have really gone downhill in the past few years. But they are nice for stocking up on drygoods.

While not Philly area per se, Something Fishy is pretty nice as well. I have always liked their selection of livestock, LR etc. They are in the Allentown area.

+1 for Something Fishy. But the one you're thinking of near the airport is East Coast Aquatics. A terrific store in itself. If you're in the area, then that's the store you need to look at.

I would check out the hidden reef, then the fish factory then pets plus in Oxford valley. They are all within 5-10 minutes of each other. I usually do the tri-fecta when I am looking for corals or fish.
