Local forum - Tri State Reefers

Hey just stumbled across this.. I have a local forum setup for this same area. In hopes to setup meetings/frag trades etc.

I live in Grayson, KY right in the middle of the Tri-State.

Join up on Tri-State Reefers so we can setup a monthly/annual meeting, etc and run everything through our own forum.

I am dedicated to getting the reef community in this area to be a great group and would love to get to know people with the same hobby. Thanks everyone.

There already is a "local forum" for this area that started here and left. They don't want any association with Reef Central any longer.

We requested the name be changed as they wanted the forum closed and club name removed from here. All we are here is a loosely tied group who wanted to preserve this arena to share experiences. I don't think there is any intention to grow it beyond that point at this time.

Welcome to our forum.

LtPiper pretty much sums up how this board started and changed over to the Appalachian Reef Society. We do have a few people that post which are from your area but you might also find interest in the Northeast Kentucky Reef Association. It isn't very active but still might help you locate people in your area.

Actually a few of the people that post here started the NKRA to have local group buys and discuss specials/offerings at our local stores.
Since this forum is now the ARS it probably isn't needed anymore. :lol:
We have several posters here from the immediate tri-state area and at least three more getting back into the hobby from Ironton, Greenup and Grayson.

If all goes well posters in the ARS forum will probably have some kind of get together/swap late this Summer so we can all meet, talk reef and do some trading.
