Look at all of the excitement I'm missing now that I've moved out of Rottenchester!! Only kidding...and please don't judge me by my post count, I've been reading on this board for several years, almost religiously!
You guys want to see some poor stores - move to Cleveland! I found an OK one about an hour west of me, but I don't think it compares to any of the saltwater stores in Rochester. My wifey and I will probably just buy a bunch of our corals/fish in the Rochester area when we visit my family (Buffalo too, they have some pretty nice shops). As for the other local stores, those besides MO, CF, and TRS, I haven't had too good of an experience, and tended to avoid the completely - I don't want my money telling these people to keep buy saltwater animals
I will admit, I have my favorites (TRS) that I frequent the most. MO was pretty nice, but was far when I still lived in the area. But keeping this thread on track, if you look at the cleveland reef club web site, they actually have a page dedicated to all of the local shops (and most of them aren't saltwater only). Just having a page dedicated to the local shops can avoid some of the problems people have complained about here - you have the page as a reference, if you find a shop that doesn't agree with you, don't go!
