Local South Fla Thermos Trade?

Anyone interested in doing a blind thermos trade down here?

I figure we can save on shipping costs if you simply meet up with a person locally.

I would send you a thermos of a couple frags in it...you would send frags to someone else...etc...at the end, I would get the thermos back with two new frags.

Not directing this at anyone in particular, but the problem with doing something such as this is too many variables between your tank my tank his tank, what he or she wants, etc. I would not be happy receiving mushrooms or some leathers, much as a noob would not be happy about receiving some wicked acros for their 30" deep tank with PCs on it..

It is a great idea, I just worry about compatability and stuff.

the whole idea of it is to send around semi-rare stuff to drive the market price down on everything, and of course to propagate and save some reefs. i've participated in a few off of other forums and it's pretty cool

I would think if the frags don't work for your tank, send them along to the next person?

well i guess so. i don't see anything wrong with that. if you like it, keep it, if not send em along. but like i said - semi-rare stuff would be optimal, only because no one wants xenia or brown button polyps. ok, maybe someone does, but not all....

I will be doing rocks covered in rics for 2008, so I want to
move out some of the smaller rocks with just 1, 2, or even just 3 rics. I want to add to my 90g tank rocks with like 8-12 rics.

hey guys - the whole idea is that it is a BLIND trade. the person you are giving the frag to is getting a present. kinda like xmas, or hanukkah, or kwanzaa, or whatever holiday you celebrate

So that no one gets screwed. Cause I got cool zoos, bright rics, shrooms, 3 acan colonies I could frag again, maybe even inverts like peppermints or bumbble bee snails, or a bunch of good snails.
