Local Starphire Supplier

GC is the only one i know of that readily has it on hand....sure others could order it, but in looking at regular glass prices for other projects in the past, they had the lowest prices i found, so i can only assume they would be the best price on starfire as well. it's all about unit price when getting in quantity & i doubt there are many local places that use as much of it as they do

recently, i have gotten a few small pieces for baffles etc from Glass Contractors of TN in lavergne since they are close to me. not as cheap as GC, but also not a 50 mile drive each way LOL

their # is (615) 793-6884 & are right off m'boro rd on old nashville hwy

I am hoping to find some one who will be able to bevel the edges also. I know GC is probabbly going to be the cheapest, but I know they won't bevel anything. I can DIY polish them, but have never beveled glass before. I have heard that you can use a belt sander to do it. I will have to call the one u listed and see.

the one i listed above does custome mirrors & such. they have a very nice beveling machine. i had to get a piece i had cut down to fit in a tank frame & they cut it to the dimension i needed. it apparantly didn't snap perfectly square, so 1 end wouldn't fit in the frame (barely) so he ran it through the beveling machine. by the time we got it fit, the edge looked like a soluna or elos tank beveled edge

so maybe get you glass w/ unfinished edges from GC & then get them to polish/bevel the edges....that is if they can't get the starfire

Trust me... no one else around here will come even near to GC's prices. Just go ahead and get it through them. :)
