Location & Feeding Frogspawn

I've had a small frogspawn (two heads I think) for about 1 month. It seems to be doing well. At it's largest it is about the size of a lemon. I have not been directly feeding it but float cyclopeze in the tank about twice per week. It is "planted" in my sandbed. I'd like to keep it healthy and help it grow.

Should I target feed it? If so, how and what?

Would it be better to locate it on my LR? If so, how should I secure it to/in the rock?

I always heard it should be towards the center of the tank. My hammer coral is in the center and I have a 29g w/ 130w of PC lighting. I'm trying to figure out that I should be feeding my hammer as well.

I read somewhere that Mysis Shrimp is a good food for frogspawn. Can anyone confirm this and explain the best feeding technique?

I spotfeed a mysis shrimp/cyclopeeze mixture about twice a week.
I thaw the mysis using a small amount of tank water and squirt come cyclopeeze in there and then target the heads with a turkey baster. I do this during normal feeding time, so the other fish are occupied with feeding for long enough that they leave the froggies alone to feed. After a while the tangs will go over to the froggies and fan at them to puff up the extra mysis.

I have a four headed froggie that is thriving on the far right hand of my tank. It's in an area that doesn't get too much fish traffic and has really low flow.
I've got a 100 gallon with 4x96 powercompact lighting.
I have a two headed froggie that was placed too high in the center of the tank and one of the heads is having trouble. I moved it down lower and am thinking of movinig it over towards the other happier and larger froggie.

Good luck, I'm still pretty new at this myself.

I have one for for about 6 months. It's gone from 2 to 4 heads. I spot feed mysis and cyclopeeze 1-2 times a week using a Kent Sea Squirt. I cut the pumps at night when the tank is on Actinic light only. I add some Garlic extreme as well. My Candycanes open up a little quicker with the garlic and everyone gets fed.

I also keep the fish amused with other foods as well!

From what I hear, you don't need to feed them at all. They get all they need from what's in the water when you feed others and from their zooxanthalae. Just make sure flow isn't too direct, but that you get some back and forth with them. This is what I've heard. I just got a doublehead last week...

i feed mine cyclopeeze, seems to love it.
also feed it formula one and formula 2 and mysis vitamin enriched. i like keeping him happy :)

A little off topic, but does anyone have a bubble that comes out of their frogspawn? Is this normal, and what do you do to fix if isn't? Seems to be an inverted mouth? where the mouth/feeder is supposed to be. Not sure what to call the mouth

There is no real need to feed Euphyllia sp. I have had 3 (hammer, anchor, and torch) for 6+ years and have never fed. The E. Divisia is about 16" across and has been fragged numerous times.
