We do not have anything in Sikeston at all. What are good ones in Cape?

Well, there are two. Petco and the Traders outpost. Petco has a selection of clownfish and damsels and a few other standardish fish. Oh they have a good selection of clean up crew stuff. They also have a fairly healthy selection of beginner frags, with normally about 30 in stock. Traders is, well, not good. Very few fish, the corals they have are covered in all different kinds of pests (mostly majano anemones) so thick they are crowding out the actual coral. The tanks are on the dirtier side most of the time also. I only get dry goods at traders.

do you normally travel to STl to get your fish or do you order them?

I'm new to the area, so once a month (sometimes more) I take a trip to STL and go to one of the LFS's on the SLASH list. It makes for s nice day, plus I like seeing the corals. I always end up coming home with a frag or two. So far I have been to 3 stores and haven't been disappointed yet.

I have ordered online before but I have never been wowed by what I get. I perfer to see it in person, plus I like geeking out and talking about the hobby with the LFS staffs.

I bought my tank some where in STL. I dont remember the stores name anymore. I had my tank up and running and everything else... then bam, i sold my house... just now getting back into it... all of the crap I have to do to get this thing back going again makes me want to cry.

I used to live in Cape, but I never had my tank there with me. Doesn't Travelers Gazebo Gardens & Pet Center on Sprigg have salt too?

Sucks you guys are so far out!!

Travelers sometimes has a good selection of fish. No coral selection to speak of. Your best bet there is to head North. Or get in touch with Austin Roberts in New Madrid or Bob Dale in Cape. Both experienced hobbyist.

Scubareefman, nice to meet you. If you need any hardware, come see me.
