locked thread question

how come we have one lil misunderstanding and they locked the thread yet on another thread there is personal attacks and cussing and that thread remains unlocked? just wondering

someone probably flagged it. BTW, posts like this one, questioning a lock, somethings gets locked and you get slapped on the wrist, regardless of the intent.
