Can I use a really old version of frontpage to edit and add our banner to the site? Or is there a good freeware program I can use?

Reggie, I like the more basic look inside of the states as far as fish/coral go, becauuse it is something which could possibly be used on a shirt/whatever we have the logoon, whereas with my original design the coral inside the states is too detailed to be put on a shirt, I would still like to see what it looked likemore 3D though. If you want to post it, or I can manipulate it myself if you don't mind.

I agree with you curtis I like the first colors and letters better, however I think reggies looks more professional being plainer. I think we just need to get some final projects of each, and then decide do we want the little bit wilder one or more professional looking one or a mixture of both.

I'm torn on this one. I do think I like the font all one color rather than different colors for the different states.

I would like to see a different font used than the one Reggie posted. Perhaps larger as someone mentioned.

I'd just need to see it in a 3D version to compare.

yeha KU, Ohio state, WVU. I mean I'm not biased when it comes to what college colors we use, btu I think everyone would agree these are the most notable colors from each state. We could change it if everyone wanted to, it really doesn't matter, but I think it would make sense to have the colors have some relevance to our location.

I didn't get the color association before but yea most from over here bleed blue. Ky is also the bluegrass state.

I never made the color connection and I'm not sure it would've mattered because I'm probably the most sportsless one in the group, including the girls. LOL
Here's my typical rant:
I dont like the WV panhandle being shown. If it's not shown then the small portion of the states make no sense. (I mean, I understand why it was shown.)
I was considering red and white(diver) colors. Otherwise, I wouldn't use primary colors.
The logo is also not a shape;ie square, round, oval, rect, triangle... It doesn't have to be, I was just pointing that out.
So then it leads me to a round logo. Pie cut into thirds. Turn the pie 90 degrees counter clockwise. A R S in each piece with appalachian reef society around the edge in an outer band along the top with a web address around the bottom, in the same band using a smaller different font.
Print it on the back of the shirt, It would look kind of beachy.
I've got a cad station at the house but it's MS 95 and getting a picture of what I draw might be tricky. I guess I can do a screen capture. I'll try.
