Lokani colors lets see em!

Bumping this old thread, cause I just got a 20k and 30k lokani. I'm hoping mine looks like this.

Awesome coral teach.

I was lucky enough to find an aqua/maricultured lokani recently on my trip to the LFS........it was somewhat brown when I got it but has color'd up beautifully......it's not mounted on the rock.

Where are most of you guys keeping your Lokani's? I currently have a frag of the 20k, but have not yet mounted it anywhere and is still acclimating to my light (250watt MH's).

Thanks,

Chad

I have the 20k and 30k both are about 16 to 18 inches below my 150 mh.

Interesting... I'll have to see how they do under my 250W's... I know they originally came in believed to be deepwater acro's, but have since been known to do well in higher light (since they aren't truly deepwater acros- correct me if I'm wrong).

From what I hear, the shades of purple change.

Here is my maricultured A. Lokani. It's about 12 inches below a 250w Metal Halide.

Sorry about the picture quality.... what more can you ask from my Droid X

How do you guys keep the white color, the one I had turned from white to green pretty quickly. Low nutrients? High/Low Light?
