Long algae?

Hey all,
New to salt. Have a 29 gallon biocube with about 8 hermits, a turbo, general star, 2 clowns and a valentini puffer. Water tests fine but I get a ton of algae on the glass and now this dark black long hair algae on the sand. Anyone know what this is or have some suggestions on cutting down algae?i thought the cleanup crew was ample but now I'm second guessing. Any advice?

It looks like Cyanobacteria. This doesn't always have to be that maroon color were all so used to.
