Long Horn cow fish

I recently got rid of all the fish and most of the corals in my 90 gallon tank. When I have left is the clean up crew, a huge orange serpent star, live rock, about 7 bubble tip anemones, zoa's, some softies, and I gorgonian that's been growing for about a year. I'm taking my time trying to decide what I want to do with the tank. At first I was thinking about just throwing a puffer in there because it would be fun for my kids they've always wanted one but I don't want to risk him eating my serpent star which I've had forever then I was thinking about doing lionfish but to be honest it kind of just sit there. That brought me to the longhorn cowfish I've seen them act as personable as a puffer without all the aggression. My question will a cow fish eat my serpent star and has anybody had luck keeping them long term ? Easy or difficult ?
