Long nose butterfly

Hi I've had my long nose butterfly for a little while now, he seams to be acting weird as he stays hidden out of light and is losing colour, has random spasms and has a white spot and one black spot on fins, I have treated the fish with garlic in him food but doesn't Seem to be working? All help will be appreciated

Did you qt him? Did you FW dip him? Sounds like there is an issue...I would assume ick or flukes....treat with copper and prazi ... garlic does nothing but create a feeding response in fish that do not like prepared foods IME

My guess would be flukes and the black spot could be black ich which is actually a worm parasite. I would treat with Prazi-Pro. Is he eating?

Hello my long nose has died today very sad to see, he definitely had something wrong with him as his top of his body was swollen and black, this is the second longnose that isn't working for me, are these fish very prone to diseases?
