Long Tentacle Anemone(?) Help

I've had this guy a couple weeks now and he has moved quite a bit. Mostly probably due to the fact that I placed him on the rocks and have since learned that he wants to be on the sand. He has attached pretty well to the rocks, and has eaten, and looked fairly happy from time to time.

I am a little concerned because he doesn't have an optimal placement yet, and he has shrunken quite frequently (a couple times a day probably) and now has squeezed into a hidden spot in the rocks. Should I try to move him? Other ideas?

My water has been perfectly in the margins that I have read on here for anemone keeping and no real fluxes or changes in conditions of any kind.

Any help appreciated and thanks in advance!

That's a Condy anemone, the move around ALOT. Even with optimal placement, it'll probably only stay there for a month or two. The deflating isn't such a big deal, they do this more frequently than other nems.
What do you have for lighting?

So I have read up on Condy's and have found that they have been known to eat fish and are hostile towards other anemones and corals. Am I right to assume that I shouldn't put any other 'nems or corals in as long as I have it? I would like to add more, but I want what is best for my tank, not just my selfish desires.

It has been doing pretty well, it is a traveler for sure, but I enjoy finding it in a new place almost every day.

I would bring it back to the LFS where you got it and trade it back to them, either for store credit or a different anemone.
