Hi All!
Getting ready to possibly start a new 200-400 in-wall reef tank after many moons away from the hobby.

Have a spare room that will be the mechanical area.
Biggest question I have is,, what all has changed?!? I just started playing with a sulfur nitrate reactor on my fresh tank so I am curious about using one on a reef set up and its pros and cons. I do like the control I have regarding nitrate levels but I thing on a reef system nitrates are still important.
Thanks in advance!

Any long timers still around? Hit me up!

Welcome back. I recently came back as well. Most people use a bio pellet reactor rather than sulfur. I used a sulfur reactor years ago and while it works it's a PITA to get the flow right. Pellet reactors are way easier and a similar concept but use carbon as the fuel source. LEDs are the main choice for lighting supplemented with T5. Skimmers are basically still the same but prettier with DC pumps. Corals became a metric f ton more expensive and everyone selling them has their own "designer" named pieces selling for hundreds of dollars per frag. Somehow a brown torch became a golden torch and 5 times the cost lol.
