I my NC has some cheato in the center column and two 9w 6700k coral life compacts for lighting. Would a lighting schedule from 7am till 11 pm (currently have it on from 7 am till 3 pm) be better to help manage trates? Or does it not make a difference?
lots of people reccomend using an 16-18 hour photoperiod for chaeto, so the 7am-11pm should be just fine length wise, but
a reverse photoperiod (on when your daylights go off) can help keep your ph more stable...
