longnose butterfly

Hi all

Does anybody have any idea how to tell the Yellow longnose butterfly(forcipiger flavissimus) apart from the Big longnose butterfly (forcipger longirostris).

The only information I could find was that the big has a longer nose, but that is all relative if I don't have a second fish to compare it to. Relying on the lfs to know the scientific name, or for that matter that there is even a difference is pretty much out of the question.

Does anybody have any advice?

Thanks

I was once looking for longirostris. The other way to tell the difference is that longirostris's eye is all black while flavissimus's eye is half black, and half white.

thank you, thank you.

I had a couple of pictures, of the 2 but I did not notice the difference with the eyes. Now hat I know what to look for I can see the difference in the pictures. Hopefully I can find one of the big longnose butterfly now in a lfs.

Thanks
