Look what I caught!

This thing has been in my tank for over a year now I think. Not really sure if it's good or bad. It's about 2"-2.5" across. It was in a semi loose rock and I just yanked the whole rock out and FW dipped it.

Any ideas on it? Sorry for the blurry pics I only had my phone with me.

it has hairy legs and was all black...

I have 2 red mithrax crabs coming this week, hope they get along well with my 2 spotted porcelain crabs.....and I hope they all have a voracious appetite for bubble and hair algae.

the rounded claw tips look like mithrax crab to me. i have a 3" wide mithrax in my tank that I've been trying to catch for over 2 months. i think he's eating my snails and gobies. any crab will kill what it can catch if it is hungry. there is no such thing as a totally safe crab. although porcelain crabs are pretty close to perfectly safe.

I would keep him in the sump but if hes behaveing give him a chance untell he proves different

Looks like mine, but mine was bigger. I took him to the LFS and now lives in their sump.
