Lookin for a Regal Angel.

thanks....i picked up a third sunburst as well. Unfortuanately i wasnt thinking and threw the sunburst into the tank. i dont really feed my fish mysis often and that's what it's been eating. Now i have to feed mysis twice a day until it switches to flakes.

Sirlight
Just make sure if you get one, NO ZOAS!! Zoas to a Regal are the equivalent of Lays potato chips to us...can't eat just one!!

Another one??? You can put 2 Regals in the same tank?

sure, as long as they are either male and female, or juvis. look at the gill spikes. If your fish has elongated gill spikes it's male and mixing two of those is unwise.

Also palythoas tend to be ok with the regals, and even zoos can become...."boring" to them for lack of a better way to put it....not that I would trust 'em with "prized" zoos, but if you've got something brown/green or not all that interesting that grows rapidly and you're willing to risk it, I wouldn't catagorically say "no way".

Well, I experienced my regal eating up $1500+ in Aquadesignz "prized" zoas. Never seemed to get bored. Agree with you in that it never ate the "cheap" palys.

Well there are some not so cheap palys..PPE for example....but I did say I wouldn't trust 'em with "prized" zoos....

the one currently in my tank is about 3" and has very short gill spines so i assume it's a female. Plus i just have a feeling. haha, i think i know a girl when i see one :D
the one that i just bought is about 4-4.5" and has gill spines that are more than twice the length of the female's.
I'll just pray. I'm waiting for a pair of bellus angels as well.
I'm also catching a wrasse bug, they're starting to look more and more beautiful whenever i see them at the fish store.
