Lookin for help getting some more corals

Hey everyone,
My tank is up and running, and I have a few different corals in there. I was wondering if anyone had an small frags of something or another I can add to my tank? It is hard for me as a 16 year old to pay the LFS price, so anything that anyone has would be awesome. Thanks.
BTW I have a 45g with 196 watt PC. So no sps.

I don't think $$$ is an issue for you my friend. You just posted a shot with yourself holding a wad of cash from a PS3 you sold for $2200. Why is it OK for you to gouge someone for a PS3 and then ask people to discount corals for you because you have no money. I think that's pretty shady. I for one don't have pity for someone like you. It's hard for anyone to pay LFS prices so being 16 doesn't make a difference.

The $1600 you made on you PS3 is more than I have in my bank account.

I'm sure you are a nice kid but stop using the 16 year old angle to get pity from people. It's tired.

FYI, I wouldn't be flaming you at all but I got irritated at your gouging the PS3 and then claiming to be broke. Just to buy the PS3 you needed more than $600 in extra cash laying around.

I have some GSP i could frag for you, free. I might be able to find some loose shrooms to if you came for that.

Also I know, I have a frag of green dragons eyes id part with for $15. Might be able to frag another bright breen zoa I have for you if you wanted. No picks though, home comp w/ camera is currently on the fritz. Thanks.

That money is going to go towards my education, I can't exactly spend that. Sorry if I have affended anyone in posting that, I was just very excited.
Again, I am not trying to get pity. I merely posted that if someone has a small frag that is taking up space or something they don't need anymore, I would more than appreciate paying a small price to pick it up. I plan on giving frags out in the future to hobbyists like myself when I can afford to, becuase Aquatic Guru gave me a few real nice frags about a month ago. I just wanted to see if anyone can help me out.

And to clarify, the 2200 I was paid was for 2, so although I still made a nice amount, it was less than you interpreted, not calling you out or anything, just defending myself a bit.

Yes, I do, I deliver chinese food 4 days a week. But, again, that money is going to be spent on my education in a few years.

just cause im already here...I dont think its a big deal man. You just have to see it from the perspective of someone who apparently saw a pic of you showing off you cash. Most people that would do that are not saving it for college.

but in your defense, people who think you took advatage of anyone by your investment are wrong. Anyone who cant wait a week or two for a game deserves to be had. IMO

I understand completely, the way I presented myself in that post was rude and boastful, and I agree that it is not how someone saving for college usually would do that, I was justso excited.

I've got all the Green Star Polyps, Shrooms, Xenia, Kenya Tree Coral and Toadstool Leathers you want. Come get 'em. I'm actually not trying to be a d**k but I have a real hard time with people who gouge.

You bought a PS3 and knew there was a demand. Sold it for a big markup. That's great business sense but it's still gouging. These gameshops are holding people who want the system hostage now by selling bundles for $1000. That's B.S. I hate to see people take advantage of others. But if people are willing to get taken that's their business.

I know you want some corals... like I said come get 'em. You will not be gouged by me. Actually the GSP and Xenia would be free.

One other thing .... this is a great hobby .. but it ain't cheap. If you're saving for college, getting into this hobby would have been better suited for after college not while saving for it

Yes, I did buy and sell the ps3s for a profit. But in my eyes, I did not gauge. I started the auction at .01. The market decided what it was worth. If it would have sold for 700? Ok cool. I was prepared to sell at whatever the cost. I let the market decide what to price it at.
Yes, I understand your views, and I agree with some of them.

About starting in the hobby now, I have had this tank and filter for close to 10 years. I bought it when I was 9 or 10 and my dad made a deal that if I raise 500, he will put up the rest for a nice size setup, an upgrade from my 10 gallon. This tank has been a work in progress, so the startup cost wasn't as great. It has been well worth it.

Aren't acro hard corals though? Do ya think they would live under my 196watt pc?

That may work though, as schwaz is from oak park also, maybe if I find a time when both of you are free, perhaps this weekend or this thursday from 1-2ish, I can come on out and buy the corals from both of ya.
