Hello all not sure where to begin to be honest. I have been in the hobby of coral for four years now. As it appears I am still not there. I have some wonderful starts but not where I want to be by any means.
I am first and for most looking for a club that is around Elwood, in “that is Active” As well I am looking for some help with two of my tanks. That I am at a total lost with. My pride and joy tank is only a 75g; and it is suffering from major algae issues its annoying beyond my understanding. With that said I am in need of a hired hand be it trade or be it cash or the best “FREE” lol. WITH EXPERENCE to come to my place and figure out my mystery red/green/brown algae outbreak that has been a three month battle in my 4 year old tank. I have tried everything I could think of from less time on lighting checking levels changing filtration around looking at substrate adding more algae munchers. Nothing is keeping it at bay.
The other tank is a tank laid out of rare and I mean rare algae that I not want to leave. The problem with this tank is my overflow box I have fiddled
with it so much its driving me nuts. I got to a point where I thought it was set; it ran great for three days then it starting Failing. Not enough water getting to the wet dry to keep up with the sump and this is really worrying me its pouring in loads of bubbles none stop but I at that same note not want to stop the cycle cause of the rarity of algae’s I have in there some of them have set me back a pretty penny.
Hunting for a person to sit down and work on a DIY cree setup.
Last but not least I am in the hunt for some NICE LPS. If anyone has any for sale or trade let me know. In my display (not the two problematic tanks) I have tons of sps and lps I would be willing to trade as long as I have two of them.
