Why don't you will call one at Marine Depot Live???

Would they allow me to view the fish in their tank?

Whenever I buy a fish from an LFS, I always spend at least 15 minutes viewing it and asking the owner to feed it. I'm picky that way...

Call 'em & ask 'em..................................I've always had great customer service from MD...................

They don't keep livestock at the Anaheim location where you can do will call, so no, there is no will call on livestock at Marine Depot.

Hmmmm, last time I was there the lady who helped me w/ my willcall told me that they did have w/c, it's just you have to call 2 hours prior.......................

Maybe I was deceived.........

just do the weekend LFS tour. Im sure one someone might have one. It might cost some gas but hey... whats gas.
Gas is about the only thing that costs me more than this hobby! :)

lol. pump gas is nothing. during the summer we were paying close to $6/gallon for 111 ocatane and using 150 gallons per race. my race truck gets about 2mpg. now thats expensive.

sorry to de-rail your thread. i bet Tongs in FV has them. they seem to have everything.

LOL, the reason I started this thread is to go straight to one source instead of wasting more money on gas than the cost of the fish itself!!! LOL!!! :D

We paid $5.00 a gallon for 87 octane on the water @ Lake Mead this summer!!!!! :eek2:

Pretty sure MD has some sort of guarantee on their livestock, so perhaps the easiest thing to do would be to order it and roll with it. Also, drsfostersmith has a guarantee, as well (and they used to be FFE, and IIRC those guys had their act together...). Might want to check with them.

FWIW.

And, oh, I don't care how pretty that fish is: if he's a typical damsel in the behavioral department, then, well, it's gonna be a jerk. I have one in a 20 that terrorized my breeding clowns and everything else in the display tank. He's good looking, but damn, is he obnoxious...

Just a bit of friendly advice...

All disclaimers apply, YMMV.
