Looking for a LFS

hello,
I am looking for a local fish store (reef) to obtain supplies and procure some corals / livestock as needed. I live in Citrus County (Crystal River, Inverness, Lecanto, Homosassa) and cannot find a store in the area. Can any one help me with a good place?

It does not have to be in the county but within an hour would be great.

Thanks,,

Really depends on what you need. You have Get Tanked and Ocean Prime in Hernando, but other than that you need to drive to Tampa. It's worth the drive for certain stores.

You're in a tough location. You're pretty much the same distance away from Gainesville, Orlando and Tampa. If you do decide to come down this way, Creative Aquariums is basically right off the Suncoast Pkwy/Veterans. They are a great store with a lot of selection and quality corals. Some of my best/unique corals have come from them.

Good luck.

Ahh yes, Drysdale in L'O'L. I could be wrong, but I think Elite closed/moved from the 54 location. ?

Upon my quick investigation, Elite corals website is down but on their FB page they have a review dated July 3 2015 so they do still exist.

Also Google, BBB, Yelp, and White pages all list them as still being on 54th st, but I cannot be sure as I'm not familiar with that store myself.

I'm pretty sure the store is no longer there. I recall driving down 54 recently and there was another company in their location. I also recall the owner stating he was closing the store to begin collecting/diving. Idk.

Obviously, to the op, call first. ;)

Elite corals shop off of Sr 54 is definitely not there anymore. I drove by 7 weeks back to stop in. 100% not there. I heard they do business but no longer a store front anymore.

Elite corals are still around but they are by appointment only. Gotta call them for location I guess. They recently had an ad on craigslist announcing that they are back.
