Looking for a mantis in NY

I am looking for a small mantis, dosen't matter what type.

I am located near Buffalo NY.

I am in Grand Island, NY and am trying (unsuccessfully) to catch the mantis (actually 3) in my tank. The largest is about 1.5" and the others are a little under 1".

Check back in a week. If I catch it, I have a small tank that I will put it in to keep it alive.
